Due to the availability of world-class software, hardware and infrastructure, the proliferation of digital signage networks have exploded across the globe. Retailers, corporations and government organizations have learned that digital signage can help deliver their relevant message to their audience at the right time and the right location.
Digital signage networks are being deployed in the Retail industry to capture the interest and mindset of their customers and encourage customers to make the all-important purchase decision at the point of sale. Most research in the field indicates that up to 75% of the buying decisions are made at the point of sale.
Corporations have found a new vehicle to communicate with their employees for a myriad of reasons including: Human Resources, Corporate News, Training, Menuboards and general employee messages. Corporate TV, as it is sometimes called, provides a means to interact with their employees and create a community that boosts morale during times when employees are concerned about the long-term security of their jobs.
Government organizations have employed digital signage networks that communicate to the interested public. These networks include: Disaster Management Centers, Relief Operations during critical emergency events, wayfinders and information kiosks in Government buildings, emergency messages for the driving public on our nation’s highways and Amber Alerts.
